This was a crazy day of fishing. I was trying to shoot video and photos but never really got the chance. We caught 9 tarpon and hooked 17 all in the course of a few hours. We were fishing with live bait in a tournament, hence our need to be so greedy.
This year’s tarpon season is winding down for our area. It was a lot of fun and we did some really different things this year. Tarpon fishing from ladders, pontoon boats and even hand-lines were some of the highlights. Here is a montage of random clips from this summer’s tarpon shenanigans.
This drive across the state has pretty much turned into a weekly event. This morning I tried not to wreck while taking some photos through the windshield; anything to help the time go faster.
I bought a lens converter to put Nikkor lenses on my Canon body for shooting video. Today I messed around with the Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8. Here are a few photos, but I mostly shot video.
I just finished up this video of a couple days in Key West throwing the Hogy at tarpon.
