There is nothing better than crappy little gulf coast waves at North Jetty. I had a creative itch this morning and decided to capture the moment. Enjoy.

I took the lazy way out and surfed close to home the last couple of days. After a 5 hour surf, there is nothing better than being able to go home for a lunch/couch break before another afternoon surf. Here are a few shots of some lonely waves, some courtesy of me and some courtesy of Jackie who has been quite the tinkerer in things camera related lately. Thanks Irene, for the waves and for not destroying Florida.

This is an old edit from back in May of 2007. I just found it while tidying up some hard drives and thought I would upload it. Like most long period swells that hit Florida, this day was pretty closed out. I also remember the absurd amount of love bugs everywhere and trying to film while they were crawling over me.
