Here is a little video I put together from last weeks mini trip to North Carolina with the family. This was all shot around Boone and Banner Elk. I wanted to shoot a bunch of video while I was there but I ended up only shooting this little bit. The place with the bridge is Grandfather Mountain, a large nature preserve and one of the highest peaks in the Blue Ridge mountains.
We were filming in the northern 10,000 Islands last week so we took a day to check out the nearby Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, “the Amazon of North America”. I’ll be heading back down that way as soon as possible.
Jackie and I took a short walk along the Myakka River yesterday morning. I brought the camera to shoot anything “cool” we may have come across, but all the animals were sleeping in.
