In between surfs at Blowing Rocks Preserve during Hurricane Earl.
This drive across the state has pretty much turned into a weekly event. This morning I tried not to wreck while taking some photos through the windshield; anything to help the time go faster.
I bought a lens converter to put Nikkor lenses on my Canon body for shooting video. Today I messed around with the Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8. Here are a few photos, but I mostly shot video.
Robert Snow has been keeping busy with all kinds of cool photo projects. This is a behind the scenes video that I just edited of his latest shoot. The Inked magazine photo shoot was with Atlanta Braves pitcher, Peter Moylan. Video shot by Stephen Allen.
My friend Shane Miller designed this campaign against the commercial fishing of bluefin tuna. The Atlantic bluefin tuna is a large migratory fish found in the western and eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. This species is at serious risk of extinction if unsustainable commercial fishing practices are not stopped.
These are some of my first shots with the t2i. We went for a walk through the woods to see what we could find. I shot most of this in 60p and then conformed it to 24p. It’s a fun camera to use.
Dysfunctional family trips are the best. This was a recent trip to NC to visit my grandparents.
